Donna Keller

Donna J. Keller

"Like the edelweiss on Alpine slopes,
she is a flower of beauty and simple purity."

Donna Juanita Bennet was born in Monrovia, California in a year she'd prefer not to reveal. She grew up on a ranch in Devore, California, on the southern approach to Cajon Pass. She met her husband, Jack, at a place called "The Canteen" in Muscoy, a neighbor of San Bernardino, in 1959. They dated until 1964, then parted. She married James Pilling a year later and soon began raising a family. She and Jim had three sons -- Keith, Troy, and Scott. Jack went to college, then into the Army, and eventually to San Francisco.

In late 1992 Jack moved to San Antonio and Donna separated from Jim. Following these developments, fate brought them together when she also moved to San Antone. They were married in December, 1994 in Muscoy, California and lived in San Antonio, Texas. In 1997 they moved to Pleasanton, 30 miles south of San Antone.

Donna has many talents and hobbies. She sews very well, cross-stitches with patience and accuracy, decorates with Martha Stewart taste and acumen, and collects dolls, black glass, Hummel figurines, and autographs of interesting and famous people. She is currently learning quilting.
